Full Description
“He do what I tell him. I do what I want.” A little romance. A whole lot of attitude. And this time, the Baddie & Daddy aesthetic is surrounded by imagery inspired by Día de los Muertos and Mexican visual culture. The I Do What I Want – Día de los Muertos Vinyl Sticker by CA Black Label transforms the familiar statement into one of the most detailed cultural editions of the series, combining Día de los Muertos-inspired artwork, floral imagery, Bay Area identity, car culture, romance, and Baddie confidence. At the center of the design is an intimate couple dressed primarily in black. She wears a fitted black floral mini dress covered with vibrant red and orange flowers, turquoise ornamental details, and decorated calavera motifs. Her arms carry elaborate floral tattoos, while gold jewelry, skull earrings, and a California-shaped pendant add another layer of detail. Her face becomes one of the strongest visual elements in the entire composition. Inspired by Día de los Muertos calavera and sugar-skull makeup traditions, her face is decorated with black, red, green, and floral detailing. Bright orange marigolds and deep red roses are woven into her dark hair, framing the makeup and connecting her directly to the flowers and calaveras surrounding the rest of the artwork. Beside her, Daddy is dressed in black with gold jewelry and a heavily tattooed forearm. But unlike the simpler black styling found in other versions of the design, his shirt incorporates its own decorated calavera, red roses, orange floral accents, and turquoise scrollwork. Their body language keeps the artwork romantic. His hand rests at her waist as he leans toward her face. She touches his cheek while leaning into him, creating an intimate moment in the middle of an otherwise elaborate composition. Behind them sits a glossy black car, surrounded by flowers and positioned against a nighttime view of the illuminated San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge. That Bay Area backdrop keeps the artwork grounded in CA Black Label's California identity while the surrounding imagery brings Mexican-inspired cultural storytelling into the foreground.
